Our paediatric-trained GPs love looking after little patients. From the first newborn check at 6 weeks through immunisations, developmental milestones, asthma management and adolescent mental health, we offer thoughtful, evidence-based paediatric care to families across Botanic Ridge, Cranbourne and Cranbourne South. All eligible patients with a valid Medicare card are bulk billed for standard consultations — including National Immunisation Program (NIP) vaccines.
Dr Kazi obtained her GP Fellowship from RACGP in 2020, with a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Sydney University in 2018. She has lived in Australia for 14 years and previously practised as a GP in Mildura for seven and a half years before joining Botanic Ridge Doctors.
Her clinical interests include paediatrics, women's health, family planning, mental health, STI screening and chronic disease management. As a mother of three, she brings understanding to families with young children. Languages spoken: English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi.
Welcoming a baby is wonderful — and overwhelming. We offer the structured paediatric checks that build confidence in those early weeks and months.
Comprehensive examination of your baby (growth, hips, eyes, heart, hearing, milestones) plus a postnatal review for you — including mood screening and pelvic floor.
Breastfeeding troubleshooting, formula advice, reflux assessment and tongue-tie review. Lactation referral when needed.
Evidence-based advice on sleep cycles, settling, safe sleep, and when to be concerned. Maternal & Child Health Nurse referrals.
Postnatal depression and anxiety affect 1 in 5 mothers. We screen openly and refer to specialised perinatal psychology.
Children grow in waves, not lines. Our paediatric-trained GPs assess physical, social, cognitive, language and motor milestones at each stage and flag any concerns early — when the right support makes the biggest difference.
All routine childhood vaccines under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) are free at Botanic Ridge Doctors. Our gentle nursing team makes the process as calm as possible — for both you and your child.

Childhood asthma, eczema and allergies are extremely common and can be life-disrupting — but with the right plan they're highly manageable.
Written, individualised plans for school and home. Inhaler technique, spacers, peak flow, and what to do during an attack.
Step-up moisturiser regimens, topical steroid plans (when, where, how much), and trigger identification.

Babies under 3 months with any fever (≥38°C) need same-day medical assessment — call us or, if we're closed, attend Casey Hospital. Older babies and children with fever for <48 hours, drinking, alert and active are usually OK to monitor at home; come in if symptoms persist or worsen.
Each child needs their own appointment slot for safety and proper time — please book separately, especially if more than one child needs to be examined.
GPs in Australia cannot diagnose ADHD definitively in children — diagnosis requires a paediatrician or child psychiatrist. We perform initial screening, gather school questionnaires, and refer for specialist assessment.
We have several strategies — distraction, numbing cream (apply 30 min before), holding techniques, and FluMist Nasal Spray for the flu vaccine in kids 2+. Speak to reception when booking and we'll allow extra time.
Bulk-billed consultations for eligible Medicare patients. Some procedures may attract a private fee — please contact reception to confirm costs at booking. Open 7 days, walk-ins accommodated where possible.
